It's great when you can use natural materials at make something with them and make them into something beautiful. making a seasonal wreath is a great way to make something that reflects the season.
There are many different things you could use as a base for your wreath. You can use a mental wreath and use wire to attach the foliage, or you could alternately you could use an embroidery hoop.
Summer Wreath:
In Summer you can use fresh flowers such as cosmos flowers, rose flowers and hydrangeas and fresh foliage such as wisteria leaves, buddleia leaves and veronica leaves. in summer you could alternatively go for a more natural and wilder feel using foliage from hedge rows like yarrow and rose bay willow herb.
Autumn Wreath:
Autumn wreaths can be beautiful and last longer than summer wreathes because you can sue dried flowers. flowers such as hydrangeas and yarrow are dried flowers to have inn a wreath. Using dried poppy seed head is also nice.
Christmas Wreath:
For a Christmas wreath you can use any evergreen foliage that is around at Christmas time. You can decide what kind of look you want. Do you want a softer more contemporary look with foliage like euonymus and other variegated, lighter leaves or do you want a different more traditional look and use darker foliage such as berried holly and pine tree leaves. You could also add a slight bit of colour.
